Invitations & Cards

Yes, people still use "snail mail." In fact, some very successful marketing and client relationship campaigns are mailed. It is your chance to stand out from the rest of the crowd. It is more expensive that an email, but if done right, it can actually be seen by more of the audience to whom you send it.

One client planned to send a letter and brochure to a new market area. That type of campaign had netted few contacts from their target audience. I suggested a cost-effective postcard campaign to build interest in the company and their core products before sending a direct appeal letter. While the campaign did win awards, more importantly it brought new clients and projects to the client.

Through SEPia Creative I rely on a depth of personal experience in the traditional print industry. This knowledge can help guide you in more options and provide a more professional final product. My marketing background can also help you develop a great campaign.

Invitations can drive enthusiasm for an event. They can help you build your theme and improve your response rate. We work with a great group of vendors who can produce cost-effective invitations and cards in small or large quantities and a variety of production methods.
Below are some samples of my work:
Client Reception Invitation

A new and exciting venue was the choice for the annual party. The planning team's discussion centered on the idea of guiding the guests to the venue. The printed invitation and the animated reminder were geared to lead them through Downtown to the venue.

Keyword Postcards

This postcard campaign was developed to introduce the firm to a new geographic target market. To catch attention, landmarks or potential vacation locations were selected. The keywords a potential customer might enter in a search engine were chosen. Text was written to tie the keyword and image to the services and experience the firm offered. It was the most successful direct mail in the firm's history.

Martini Reception Invitation

For this invitation, I took a step back in time for the design with a martini theme for the firm's annual client party. The process include both a printed invitation and a follow-up e-card. The e-card was animated and featured a cocktail themed song for the 1950s.

Employee Postcard

The firm's postcards used a new visual design introducing new employees and announcing promotions. The company was looking to set itself apart from competitors with a personal connection to its staff and by emphasizing their international reach. A company font was implemented, portraiture photos were added, and globe imagery was included for each card producing a unique branded image with stood out against the competition.

Holiday Cards

The firm had moved away from sending out holiday cards as the costs rose and other companies could send out the same mass-produced ones. New cards with unique images and a consistent feel were produced at a greatly reduced cost and a more controlled message and production time.
